Planning Commission

The Planning Commission serves as an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors and the Monterey Town Council to promote orderly development of Highland County. The Planning Commission prepares and recommends the Comprehensive Plan, presides during public hearings and gathers public accounts, and prepares and revises amendments regarding the Zoning Ordinance.
